Season Update – May 2020

Dear MGSA members,

First and foremost, we hope this reaches you well and staying safe.

As you may be aware, the closure of all outdoor recreational facilities for team sports continues until further notice to protect the health and safety of residents and staff from COVID-19. This continued closure supports Halton Region and the Province of Ontario’s efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 and ongoing measures to flatten the curve.

Our Board recently met to discuss additional health and safely protocols, and modifications necessary to follow guidance on physical distancing.  As a result, we have unfortunately had to make the very difficult decision to cancel our 2020 season for our House League participants. We will issue a refund less a $45 credit which will be applied towards your next year’s registration fees (Player Registration Fee – $45 = Refund Amount). Your refund and credit code will be issued within the next three weeks; no action is necessary on your part.
