COVID-19 and MGSA

Dear MGSA members,

Thank you for registering with the Milton Girls Softball Association.

We have been closely following the COVID-19 developments, and prioritizing the safety and well-being of our players, families, and the community of Milton.

We are working with the Town of Milton, and at this time, we have decided to postpone the start of our House League season to Monday, June 1st.  Tryouts for our Select teams are delayed, and new dates will be announced and communicated as well as posted on the website when they become available.

This date is based on the information available to us today.  We will assess alternatives to add additional time to remaining practices and games.  In the weeks to come, we will detail new safety measures around shared equipment to be implemented to protect our players.

As communicated March 14, all softball-related activities for our Rep teams will remain suspended until such time a date to resume activities can be determined.

Youth sport is at the heart of our community, helping our young girls stay active, and developing social and athletic skills, while teaching them the importance of being a team player.  We commit to providing you updates on the 2020 Season as we receive them.
