Teams will be finalized and shared on TeamSnap by the end of April. You will receive an email notification once your daughter has been rostered to a team.

TeamSnap is the league’s primary communication platform.

It is used for:
● Team rosters
● Game and practice schedules
● Updates from coaches
● Weather cancellations and announcements

We strongly recommend downloading the app and turning on notifications.

The season runs from early May through till the end of July, including end-of-season events.

Each division has set weekly practice and game days.
Your team’s full schedule will be available in TeamSnap once teams are announced.

Activities take place in the evenings. Time varies depending on age group and field availability.

Players should arrive 10–15 minutes before their scheduled start time to warm up and be ready to play.

All players must have:

● A helmet with a face cage and a chin strap
● Fielders mask (U8+)
● Softball glove
● Running shoes or cleats
● A water bottle

Each player will receive:

● A team shirt / jersey
● Socks
● Shorts (U6 - U11)
● Belts for U13+

Teams are created with the goal of being as balanced and fair as possible.

Factors considered include:
● Age
● Skill level and experience
● Coach availability
● Positions (when known)
● Friend requests (should be mutual and are not guaranteed)

Our goal is to ensure a fun, competitive, and positive experience for all players.

Not at all! MGSI house league is designed for all skill levels, including beginners. The focus is on learning, development, and having fun.

Please notify your coach as early as possible through TeamSnap so they can plan accordingly.

Before 3:00 PM: The Town of Milton may close diamonds.

After 3:00 PM: MGSI and/or the coaches will make the decision.
All updates will be communicated through TeamSnap.

Champs Day is a fun, end-of-season skills competition event for U6, U8 and U11.

Players will enjoy:
● Skill stations and activities
● Pizza, chips, and a drink
● Medals for top 3 finishers
● A trophy for every participant

Yes! There are two additional events for U13 / U15 / U17 / U22 divisions:

Gala (Season Kickoff Event):
● Held at the end of May
● Takes place on a weekend (Saturday/Sunday)
● Typically includes two games in one day
● A fun way to kick off the season and get teams playing

Playoffs (End-of-Season Event):
● Held at the end of July
● Each team will play a minimum number of games (details to be confirmed)
● A fun and competitive way to wrap up the season
