2020 Season Update – May 1

Dear MGSA members,

We continue to closely follow the COVID-19 developments to prioritize the safety and well-being of our players, families, and the community of Milton.

We are working with the Town of Milton, and at this time, we have decided to postpone the start of our House League season to tentatively begin Monday, July 6.  Tryouts for our Select teams are delayed, and new dates will be announced and communicated as well as posted on the website when they become available.

This date is based on the information available to us today.  We are assessing alternatives to add additional time to remaining practices and games, and/or extending our season into August/September.  We will detail the season schedule and new safety measures around shared equipment to protect our players by June 8.

As previously communicated, all softball-related activities for our Rep teams will remain suspended until such time a date to resume activities can be determined, in accordance with PWSA directives.

We commit to providing you updates on the 2020 Season as we receive new information.
